How Filing Context calculates your result
Separate reported purchases from grants, exercises, investment-fund activity, and amendments. Follow every transaction back to its source.
Start with evidence, not a score
Import normalized ownership rows with accession, filer identifier, transaction identifier, dates, and source links. Keep derivative transactions, amendments, and investment-fund activity separate from the purchase subtotal.
Read the assumptions
Deduplicate repeated rows, exclude conflicting copies, and preserve footnotes and unknown prices. A reported purchase is not an investment recommendation. Form 4 interpretation can depend on footnotes and ownership relationships.
Use a reproducible workflow
Enter your own measurements or import records using the published CSV schema. Save a local scenario before making a change, compare the result, and export a copy with the assumptions intact. Example inputs are not a verified catalog or a live data feed. The source references explain the underlying terminology; they do not independently verify information you enter.
